Work is due to start on Monday 12 October 2020 to carry out essential road resurfacing works on the A140 Ipswich Road roundabout and its exits and approaches, at Pulham Market. The works will see the old worn out road surface removed and replaced with a new smooth surface. It is estimated the work will take approximately 3 nights to complete.
During the works both the B1134 Station Road and Tivetshall Road will need to be closed at their junctions with the roundabout. Closures will be required from 7pm – 6am each night (the roads will remain open as normal between 6am – 7pm). Access to properties will be maintained. A signed diversion route will be in place during the works. The A140 will remain open throughout but will operate under a reduced speed limit with two-way temporary traffic lights. If access for Emergency Services for residents is required, the site staff will ensure access past the works.
The road closures are essential to ensure the works are conducted in a safe and efficient manner.
The work which will cost around £50,000 will be carried out by Norfolk County Council’s Community and Environmental Services Department and their contractors.
Norfolk County Council thanks people for their patience while this maintenance work is carried out.
