Wishes all our followers a Happy Christmas and a healthy and peaceful New Year. We’ll be resuming our monthly talks on Wednesday 18 January at 2.00 pm, in St John’s Church, Harleston, and look forward to seeing you then, when Steve Poulter, with the working title The Bard on Screen, will be looking at how cinema has used Shakespeare as a source and inspiration for so many films, from the glossy Hollywood movies of the 1930s, through Laurence Olivier’s interpretations, and thence to the present day.
