In the heart of Waveney Valley

Pulham Primary School

The primary school is a Voluntary Controlled Church of England School, founded in 1852 and located on Harleston Road. It takes children aged four to eleven and has around 136-plus pupils on the school roll. It serves Pulham Market and Pulham St Mary, as well as some smaller surrounding villages, and its involvement in the community is very much part of the school life. It has an active friends association called FOPPS (Friends of Pulham Primary School). The majority of children move up to Archbishop Sancroft High School in Harleston, which is the only Church of England high school in the county of Norfolk, while some attend Diss High School, Long Stratton High School and other schools further afield.
